From junior development and adult programs to leagues, tournaments, camps, and private instruction, we take pride in creating a community where players can learn, improve, compete, and build lasting friendships.

Our Story

The Montgomery TennisPlex story began more than 40 years ago when Jack Schore left law school to pursue his passion for teaching tennis at the highest level in a personal and meaningful way. Fifteen years later, Jack met Kevin Dowdell, who became both a close friend and mentor to many of Jack's top junior players. In 1991, Jack met Anne Pallie, a successful commercial real estate developer, and together they shared a vision of creating a first-class indoor tennis facility unlike anything in the region.

Over the next four years, Jack, Anne, and Kevin worked tirelessly to bring that vision to life, ultimately creating what is now Montgomery TennisPlex - a facility built on a passion for tennis, player development, and community.

Today, Montgomery TennisPlex proudly features 10 year-round indoor tennis hard courts, 8 dedicated year-round indoor pickleball courts, and 4 outdoor tennis hard courts, making it the largest combined indoor tennis and pickleball facility in the DMV.

As pickleball has grown in popularity, Montgomery TennisPlex has continued to evolve while strengthening its reputation as one of the leading tennis and pickleball facilities in the Mid-Atlantic. Our commitment is to remain at the forefront of both sports while delivering an unmatched experience for every player who walks through our doors.

A New Chapter

In July 2026, Marco Impeduglia officially acquired Montgomery TennisPlex from Jack Schore and Anne Pallie, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the facility's history.

While ownership has changed, the mission remains the same: to build upon the incredible legacy that Jack and Anne established more than 13 years ago when they transformed Montgomery TennisPlex into one of the premier tennis and pickleball destinations in the region.

Under Marco's leadership, Montgomery TennisPlex remains dedicated to expanding opportunities for players throughout the DMV while continuing to invest in exceptional coaching, innovative programming, leagues, tournaments, camps, special events, and facility enhancements.
